Dawn manages a range of Small and Mid Cap Companies portfolios, as well as researching and analysing a range of Australian listed stocks in the Small Companies and Mid Cap sectors. Dawn has more than 20 years of investment industry experience as a Fund Manager and broker, with the last 15 years as a Small Companies Portfolio Manager.
Prior to joining First Sentier Investors in January 2008, Dawn was a Portfolio Manager at Deutsche Asset Management’s Small Companies Team which was subsequently bought by Aberdeen Asset Management.
Dawn has completed a Bachelor of Science with first class honours, and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Sydney. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance.
Michael manages a range of Small and Mid Cap Companies portfolios as well as undertaking both quantitative and qualitative research for stock selection ideas in the Small Companies and Mid Cap sectors. Michael covers a variety of companies and industries including property, industrials and IT stocks. In addition, Michael contributes to regular risk and performance monitoring of portfolios.
Michael started working on the Small Companies portfolios in October 2007, having joined the business as a graduate. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws (Hons) from the University of Sydney and has passed the three levels of CFA exams.
Tahlia manages a range of Small and Mid Cap Companies portfolios as well as undertaking quantitative and qualitative research for stock selection ideas in the Small Companies and Mid Cap sectors. Tahlia covers a variety of companies and industries including industrials, healthcare, infrastructure and consumer discretionary stocks.
Tahlia joined First Sentier Investors as part of the graduate program in February 2016, where she completed rotations in the Economics, Fixed Income, Direct Infrastructure and Australian Small Companies teams. Prior to joining the team, Tahlia was an investment analyst in the Direct Infrastructure team, working on transactions and asset management.
Tahlia holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide.
Minnie commenced in First Sentier Investors’ Small and Mid Cap Companies team in August 2024.
Most recently, Minnie worked at Uber as a Senior Manager Strategy & Operations. Previously she was also an Analyst at Barrenjoey, covering the Australian Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT) sector. She has also worked at UBS Investment Bank as an Analyst covering the TMT sector and the Australian Resources sector.
Minnie holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney.
Cissy commenced in First Sentier Investors’ Small and Mid Cap Companies team as an analyst in October 2024, undertaking research across a range of different sectors to generate stock selection ideas for the portfolios.
Prior to joining First Sentier Investors, Cissy was a sell-side analyst at UBS Investment Bank, where she worked for over six years specialising in coverage of Australian listed equities in the small cap space.
Cissy holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws from the University of Sydney.
